Our first wedding was a summer one – the garden full of roses and lavender with an Alice in Wonderland tea party theme. Acres of bunting were hung across the beams with vintage cakes stands and crockery. Since then we have held some fabulous weddings from Rustic to Pagan; Persian to Autumnal, each unique and personal to every couple. At The Pilgrims Rest we encourage new ideas and creativity and for us it has been a total joy to see wedding plans come to fruition, each full of life, beauty and fun. We have found that versatility is the key requirement from couples booking their weddings and we are delighted that we are able to make this possible at The Pilgrims Rest. With weddings booked for 2108, 2019 and even 2021 The Pilgrims Rest is fast becoming a sought after venue.
