After your ceremony has taken place, yourselves and your guests will be ushered outside for confetti and group photos (weather depending of course). Our wedding team then reorganise the benches in the Great Hall to create your drinks reception space and dance floor for your evening reception.
For your evening entertainment you have the option of: A Band, A DJ or a trusty Spotify Playlist playing on your own speaker.
DJ: At The Pilgrims Rest, our recommended DJ Dean from Kestrel Events sets up at the top of the stairs in The Great Hall allowing ample space on the dance floor for you and your guests to dance the night away. There are various options for DJs to set up in the Great Hall which can be seen below.
SPEAKER: Inside The Pilgrims Rest, the venue acoustics mean you do not necessarily need a DJ or a band to have a party on the dance floor. If you have a slightly smaller budget, a soundbar or speaker provides an equally ideal acoustic for you and your guests to have a still boogie whilst maximising the space on the dance floor.
BANDS: We are always happy to host bands at The Pilgrims Rest, we know you can't beat a bit of live music. For higher guest numbers, we recommend no bigger than a 3 piece band to ensure you maintain as much of the dance floor as possible to bust a move or two. *If your chosen band or DJ has not visited The Pilgrims Rest before, we always advise a site visit to us which we can arrange so they can familiarise themselves with the space.
