As we fall into November it has me thinking how idyllic The Pilgrims Rest is for a winter wedding. A Wealden hall house dating back to circa 1420, with three beautiful reception rooms - the Great Hall, the Dining Room, and the Webster Room all boast inglenook fireplaces. With endless historic features from ancient beams to linenfold doors, witch’s marks to ward off evil spirits and a secret tunnel hidden under the Great Hall fireplace that runs beneath the Abbey walls, The Pilgrims Rest is a truly unique winter wedding venue.
