![]() We first met Lynda back when we launched The Pilgrims Rest as a new wedding venue and instantly fell in love with her beautiful wedding stationery. How did you get into wedding stationery? After designing my own wedding stationery nearly six years ago, shortly followed by requests from friends and family, I realised how much I enjoyed this creative process and decided to turn my passion into a small business. My background in graphic design with over 20 years at a London design company, along with my experience in print, layout and typography has enabled me to combine two of my biggest loves - design and stationery. What are the popular stationery/wedding trends of 2017? Foiling is still a popular choice especially in gold and copper as it can be complemented with so many colour ranges. It's my favourite print finish too along with letterpress. Pantone green is a popular choice with botanical finishes. Is there a wedding you have done that really stood out for you and why? Each wedding is special and stands out for their own reasons. Once you get to know the couple and their personal tastes it's my priority to ensure everything is just right for them. I worked on a small wedding last year and the bride and groom were so happy with all the work I'd done, even down to the way I had packaged their stationery! Getting happy feedback makes my day and all the little details worthwhile. What are your two top tips for Brides planning their wedding day? Planning a wedding can be stressful, especially with endless choices these days. It can be overwhelming. Organise, prioritise and let people help. On the day your bridesmaids are there to assist and just enjoy the day and take time to take it all in. Lynda has been a hugesupport both creating our logo and providing stationery for our photo shoots. We highly recommend Lynda to our prospective couples.
